Silver pearl dropearring with stacked discs on sterling silver wire

Stacy King started Lulu Designs after a burgeoning career as a ceramicist. Her designs are influenced with what she has learned from cultures in India, Thailand and Afghanistan. The result is what she calls designs that are infused with the history of these craftspeople and their jewelry making traditions. We were intrigued by the way she stacks disparate materials including gold vermeil discs, leather and other stones atop the drop to create a modern take on traditional pearl or semi-precious stone earrings.
